Shekhawati region have emerged as a prominent tourist destination. Shekhawati's claim to fame is the painted havelis. There are several villages or townships in this region like: Mandawa, Mukandgarh, Nawalgarh, Jhunjhunu that have beautiful havelis with, elaborate frescoes and murals.
